Whether you are looking for a unique banquet setting or an intimate business meeting, the Museum’s staff stands ready to assist you. Located in UC Berkeley’s Anthropology and Art Practice Building, the Museum is conveniently located near the California Memorial Stadium, the International House, the Berkeley Law School, and the Bancroft Hotel.
Event Package
Rental Rates (4 hour block):
- Weekday – $2400
- Weekend – $2700
Event Package includes:
- Rental monitor
- Security monitor
- Chair, table, and umbrella use and set-up
- Projection screen and projector
- Podium
- Small PA system and microphones
- Wi-Fi
- Cleaning fee
Available Event Package Times: Daytime Events
- Monday – Tuesday 10am – 2pm
Evening Events
- Monday – Sunday 5pm – 9pm
Capacity:
- 200 standing
- 60 seated
Note: Last hour of rental is reserved for cleanup. Caterers are allowed limited access 1.5 hours prior to event start time. Required but not included:
- $500 rental deposit; refundable upon successful rental
- Event Liability Insurance
- Alcohol Permit (if alcohol is being served)
Additional rental details:
- Balance is due one month after the contract is signed.
- Any events requiring closure of the Museum during regular public hours must be approved by the Museum Director and are subject to an additional fee.
Daytime Meeting Package
Rental Rates (2 hour minimum):
- Weekday – $150/hr
- Weekend – $200/hr
Daytime Meeting Package Includes:
- Rental monitor
- Chair and table use and set-up
- Podium
- Small PA system and microphones
- Use of David Carroll & Associates A/V system
- Barco Clickshare Wireless Presentation System
- Wi-Fi
- Cleaning fee
Capacity: 30 Available Daytime Meeting times: Meeting times available from 9am to 5pm when rented by the hour. Early entrance (prior to 9am) is subject to double hourly rate. Meetings are daytime use only. Required not included:
- $100 rental deposit; refundable upon successful rental
